Biography

Evan Stackpole is a graduate teaching assistant and first year master's student focusing on colonial and early republican America, with an emphasis on material culture. He is currently working on a thesis examining working class menswear, tentatively titled "What Clothes Conceal."

Evan graduated with honors from the University of California Davis in 2016; he received the Jarena D. Wright Scholarship from 2012 to 2014, and the Andrew M. Siverson Scholarship in 2016. While at Davis, Evan was on the Dean's Honors List seven times from 2013 to 2016.
